Turns out his C15 was sold by its owner, Jan Roelse, to Guy Gilis in Belgium, and was then sold on to Mr Raab in the Czech Republic.

Like the Jaap de Wit's one?

He posted a letter to the Classic Military Vehicle/March2010, with his enquires about the body of the truck.

Hi Hanno,

The translation will be a little later I think, cause he's in Carter's footsteps right now!

Cheers,

Stefan

Stefan, I know where the old man is but I don't understand Carter's footsteps. Please translate into Canadian.

Or go to the ad here on MLU for contact details of Michiel van Roode who is in direct contact with the owner (who due to his age isn't online very often):

Default Ford V8 F15A cwt 15 cab 11

Hello,

I'm new on the forum.
My name: Kenny Desaever, living on the coast of Belgium. A friend of mine told me someone had been talking about my Ford Canada on the forum.
I am the proud owner of the Ford V8 F15A cwt 15 flat lorry restored by Anthony Sudds. Ford has indeed manufactured very few of this type whit the 2 different axles.

But... can anybody help me to find the big trailer (cwt 20)?
I know that sir Hanno Spoelstra has one, but his price is a bit to high... I can also trade against some German militaria if wanted.

Glad to join the Club!!

This ad, found at http://www.gaf.zeelandnet.nl/, reads "C60X in very good condition. Many spare parts. Improved braking system." I presume the seller added a leading 7 or trailing 0 to the asking price. . .

Hallo Hanno,

sorry, i didn't meen it that way...
Indeed, you haven't given me an exact price, but i found nothing cheaper than 7600 euro's to trade with...
Is there anything else you should consider to trade for? Or how much do you want in euro's?

greetings

Kenny

Default Sorry Jeff....

Your old 42 Ford has a humungous Super Heavy Duty Cast GM ront axle and a teenee weenee Ford rear axle.......

Your front axle has a massive cast front face and multi cast iron braces...... I found a similar axle on a early cab 13 (1941..??) Chevrolet..... cab early floor pattern and full tie rod end linkages like cars.....

Bets are that the early design as an original R-Zeppa front inner axle.....

I know I have close up pictures of the anomaly..... but do you think I could find it...... it's an age thing.... you'll get there one day....

By the way "Kudos" on the upgrade of the forum....

Boob

Happy to see this C30 LAAT stayed in the Netherlands (reportedly it came from Denmark), and restoration is well underway: http://www.re-enactmentforum.nl/foru...sels-c30-laat/

1943 CMP Chevrolet C15 for sale on Milweb. This dealer often posts CMPs originating from England for sale.

It already has a Dutch registration, but it's UK reg.no. is still visible. So who owned "HUP310"?

Quote:
1943 CMP Chevrolet C15
It is really a beautifull restored example with the aim of the restoration on originality and perfectionism.

This Chevrolet has been produced at 18 October 1943. At couple of years back it went thru a nut and bolt restoration. This has been done in the UK.
It looks perfect in anyway. Look at the details like the og fire extinguisher, the mudflaps and its interior.
Technically it is perfect as well, everything works. It starts at the button and it drives great. The brakes are in good working order.
The canvas is as new and in OEM style!
So you can step in and enjoy straight away. Now available at at fraction of its restoration costs (not even counting the hours that have been put into it).
Price € 16950
Will help with shipping worldwide.

Default C8A HUW for sale in The Netherlands

After almost 20 years I consider to sell my beloved CMP C8A HUW.
A difficult decision but trying to get money to save other parts of the collection.
Therefore it won't be a bargain, however I don't know yet what is realistic.

It is an Original 1943 C8A Heavy Utility Wireless.
Number 3844516076
some history know, see the link below.
It is NOT a "modified" HUP or whatever, never been cut, but was in a bad condition 20 years ago. All restored to original condition, working sliding roof, glass windows, Radio Set, Generator, etc etc.
Now it is up and running, however I would recommend new tyres.

Of course including street legal Dutch license papers.
Location: The Netherlands
I'm open to reasonable offers

Paul

Saw some photos by Martin Eaton of a HUW at an event in the UK, thought I recognized it:
