I have heard they are only good for 500 miles !? is that true ? i could clock that up easily on a weekends driving.... I always wanted (when i get one restored) to get a group of the English contingent (and anyone else) to take it to Italy and run the route my grandfather did from Salerno up to Monte Cassino, i still have his field compass and his military gear.
Just have to wait and be patient i guess. I have found a lad in the UK who has patterns cut out for armour, i have to go down to Suffolk in April (easter) so will photograph and take some engineers card with me to copy them.
