Here's another picture of this type of truck:
37354295_665798327090712_9068845822283612160_o.jpg This picture was sent in by a member of Keep Them Rolling many years ago. It was part of an album showing a variety of vehicles as used by the Netherlands Army in the former colony of the Netherlands East-Indies (now Indonesia), during the 1946-1949 time frame. Many of these were CMPs which were taken over from British and Indian Army troops. These troops initially occupied Indonesia after the Japanese surrender in 1945. After 1946, vehicles were shipped in from the huge Canadian Army vehicle dumps in the Netherlands, or bought on the civilian market like this Dodge Power Wagon with locally manufactured body (others are e.g. Ford/Marmon-Herrington trucks and Willys CJ jeeps).
