The previous owner had already bought the steel plate for the UC. Im assuming it was regular plate steel and not the hardened stuff. Drill bits seemed to drill rather easily.
Unless your planning on being shot at, why would you bother with the hardend stuff. You can't tell once its painted or I guess for that matter before its painted.

Found all the drawings I made a few years ago. A couple had already been drawn on AutoCad but I never did the rest. The holes for various brackets may want to wait until you have the actual bracket to make sure it all lines up.
If anyone wants to make corrections feel free to. Use them as you wish.

I have all the measurements for a MK1 armour on a disc .Bolt holes measurements also . I tride to send it to a webb site but it is too big . I can send them to you one at a time and you can see if you can make it work .I would be intersted in getting some armour for a couple of carriers . I have a Patented ,tool I am selling that can put 200 lbs pressure on any electric drill $ 45 Works great for doing this armour . About the scratches on the armour ,I always wonder how they got there . Email George

so what thickness is the outer armour ? 8mm ? and i take it the engine covers and ducting are thinner material ?
finally what is the "Tole Conductuer" is this supposed to be the bulkhead behind the driver ? Cheers Richard |
