Interesting photo Hanno, but what are they digging up or burying?

Looks to me as a Sherman sort of undercarriage. look at the 2 flanges of the 3 piece final drive housing.

Like Maurice said, it must be a Sherman of some sort.

Not sure if they are using it to fill a crater or are trying to get it out!
