Be very careful when selecting your shipper. I arranged for shipping through a broker, which meant that they posted the need and waited for a response. After two weeks of building storage fees and I cancelled their contract. Although I was eleigible for a refund of my deposit I never received it, even when the State of Florida intervened on my behalf.
My suggestion is to check out the oversight agency which covers any firm you select to see if there's been any complaints. However, the best thing is to go with a firm someone has used and has given you a strong recommendation.
