Also received word from my contact at the City. As I was told and I will paraphrase; the committee greatly appreciated the offer, and is well aware of how enormous a contribution that was being presented, but have instead decided to decline. They want this to be a marching parade, with a memorial service, and they feel that having carriers rolling wasn't what they were looking for. Sorry gang. No deal this year. Brad |

Thats our lovely city for you. Never mind how many vets you could have in the parade that wouldn't go becuase they can't march. What committee were you dealing with?
