Does anyone have a clear picture showing how the bren gun was attached to this mount? Thank you in advance

The Bren is held by the front mount pin under the gas cylinder, and by friction at the rear of the mount, where a spring steel piece grips the receiver.
The mount hangs inside the front plate, to the right of the firing slot when not in use, or if a Vickers is fitted. Rob Brent I think the Canadian mount is similar to the small cast mount that you see inside the front plate of a mid production LP2A as shown in Jeff Plowman's first NZ Armour book. There was a 'U' shaped piece of steel bolted inside the firing slot to narrow the opening for the Bren. Rob |

I have seen this mount in use on Brit built carriers. Pic attached of early Bren Carrier.
