Hi Richard
Yes, I only managed to visit this part of the camp on Sunday, a few hours before I had to catch the plane back home. So I was in a little bit of rush. But I was luckily to see the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight with the Lancaster. Sadly, the Lancaster wasn't in Duxford the week before nor at Farnborough on Saturday (too strong winds). Hmm, which odd pics do you mean? Keefy's Aussie DVD's? Or the Fox Armoured Car? Greetings Chris

Sorry to have missed you, Chris. The "odd" photos, not CMP / Canadian, were the Dutch owned Humber MkIV armoured car...........the Fox is a copy of it. regards, Richard

The machine on the left, with the FOX sign, skillfully placed to hide the front shock sticking up through the front fender is really a Humber..but not good enough...the top of the shock is seen sticking through the fender just above the sign...a poor camo job like that usually gets you killed..

Zero points on AFV recognition, Alex ![]() The vehicle on left with sign saying "GM Fox"...........is in fact a Fox. The shocker on a Humber is much higher, look at the right hand pic, the petrol cans are in front of it. Also note the front hubs on the Fox, definitely CMP based ![]()
