2 Pounder Carrier discovered and recovered

Hi Graeme Sevens here,
I'm a bit dubious about 'Luke's Find' being so old,
as the mountings for twin aircleaners appear to emerg with later production around ~ 6146.
An A/T Carrier over here (6081), may have it's production stencil under the towing lug .... see photo. If you accept that the body was upside down when applied at 'Metro Gas'
Your A/T body seems to have lots of old paint up front, maybe an 'upside down production No.' lurks underneath ???
Note the plain two-tone cammo.
