Prior to leaving the UK for the Mediterranean theatre the 12th Canadian Army Tank Regiment (Three Rivers Regiment (Tank)), C.A.C., had (AFVs only) as of 10 June 1943:

66x M4A4 (Sherman V)
10x Universal Carrier
9x Ford Lynx Scout Car
