F30S
I first saw the reference to "F30S" in my copy of the Fifth Edition...I am sure that the F60H photo changes or am I wrong? I am still uncertain when the "30S" designation was dropped by the DND....by 1941 it must have been clear that there was not going to be a C/F30L, and also the FGT chassis had been adapted for the Chevrolet 2-pdr Portee which was rated by the British at 30-cwt even though it was a 3-ton chassis. It makes sense to me that the S suffix was dropped therefore.
