OT, but on the Railway crane.

From a friend who lives just out of Carlisle UK

Yep, crane will be Cowan Sheldons at Carlisle. They were one of the biggest cranemakers around and their cranes went all over the world. They started in 1846 and closed down in 1987. It's long gone now though - all the buildings and workshops etc were pulled down in 1989 and it's now a retail park with the normal retail park shite on it (Burger King and the usual DIY shops)...years of history just gone...

Now out of Gateshead.
