I hear on the grapevine that the Jordanian Army is taking some of their Ferrets out of War Stores and rebuilding them to be re-introduced into service. The rebuild is believed to be a diesel and full auto trannie.
Not bad for a family of vehicles 50 years old and only retired from active service about 10 years ago.
It will be interesting to see if something does come of it......
