What's in a name?

Hi

Aside from MVs I also have a strong interest for air-cooled Volkswagens. I've had 3 of them now as well as 3 later water-cooled models.

I tried very hard to allow my wife to name one of our daughters "Karmann" but she wasn't having any of that!!

I did end up with a dog named "Ghia" and she was a Boxer (that's a VW motor type for those that don't know). Pure-bred and pedigreed with her full name (Art Fisher's Karmann Ghia) duly registered with the Canadian Kennel Club. She and I looked great zipping around in her Blut-Orange namesake in Alberta and Southern Ontario years ago.

Sadly, she just passed away.
