Anyone for a P40N haircut?
This is a shot of a P40N taking off
You'll need Quicktime player and it is about 1 meg in size. Remember to crank up the sound.. This P40N is a genuine combat aircraft from New Guinea and has been flying for about a year. It was recovered in the 1970s from Tadji along with several others as well as a number of Beauforts, one of which is being rebuilt to fly. I shot this at Point Cook yesterday and asked the pilot, Murray Griffiths to keep it on the deck until the end of the runway. He was a good boy and did as requested.
