Smorgon Steel are really only doing it for the benefit of the Rural Fire Brigades. See
this site. It might pay to advise your local brigade (and your local scrappie, too) of your interest in anything that may come in, and offer them a donation in excess of the $15 a ton they will receive. Come to think of it, if you have enough money to play with old trucks, why don't you give them a donation anyway?
