Default Ford GPW Jeep Question..........

'Morning All,

Our museum (Ashton Armoury Museum, Victoria, BC), has an operational Ford GPW Jeep in the collection. The plywood sheet under the driver's seat, protecting the fuel filler cap, and gas tank sending unit from damage, is getting ratty in it's condition, and on checking the Operator's Manual that we have, doesn't match the photos of this piece in the manual.

Would anyone have accurate dimensions for this sheet of plywood, including it's thickness?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Chris Preston
