Tony,
I don't remember seeing a mounting block on the L5 pack howitzer shield, and the weapon's introduction into Aust service coincided with some major changes to Aust artillery fire control and laying procedures and instrumentation. Also, the L5 was often operated without the shield mounted. So I doubt the zero line plate shown here is applicable, but cannot confirm that 100%. Mike
