There are various parts of manuals in downloadable format but the real manuals are in glorious paper format and those that make a living from them would like to keep it that way. In time someone is going to buy and use a bulk self feeding scanning tool and blow that business model out of the water. Then those of us who rely on people in distant lands who have become repositories of such technical paperwork will evaporate.
While I get the concept, I have enjoyed buying good quality manuals and using them. I get grumpy on this subject, likely it shows.
