Two thoughts jump to mind:
Although it was more sheltered than the muddy trenches of the Western front, I wouldn't want to have spent a lot of time living/fighting there....
If melting snow/ice revealed the bunker, will a continued melt and exposure destroy it before it can be fully documented?
