Thank you for the reply.

I got the measurements from one of the tyres off the truck that I took a photograph of and posted up (see link http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...15&postcount=1). The conversion down from 34 x 7 down to a 7.00 x 20 was via Hanno and a kindly linked tyre chart.... Commercial Motors article "Simplification of Giant Tyre Markings" from 1951.
