Hillman Staff Car

Restoring a Hillman Minx staff car which I have been told was built for an Army contract rather than an RAF one.
The data plates are missing so I am a little wary, does anyone know the contract numbers for these vehicles? and or the chassis numbers for the military ones?
Any knowledge or advice would be much appreciated!
