.50 cal BMG currently sells for between $3.20 and $6 USD per round, depending upon grade. $3.20 is bulk (100 rounds/can) purchase of military Ball rounds, while around $6 will get you match grade for anti-materiel rifle shoots.

A single M2HB on a ground mount is outstanding fun, especially when it was my taxes paying for it, rather than directly out of my own pocket.

I can only imagine that a twin AN/M2 in a ball turret must be a magnitude more fun!
