According to Mike Starmer, it seems that the dark disruptive patterning sanctioned by MTP46/4A which was first used on vehicles in overall KG3 or SCC2 continued to be applied to vehicles painted in overall SCC15 by some units. The patterning could be SCC14 (black) or SCC1A (very dark brown).

Disruptive painting was only banned for U.K. based vehicles when SCC15 was introduced.

The wave pattern is officially called the Foliage Pattern. Copies of MTP 46/4A can be found on the web
