Graeme, the orange one is dated October 1940. This is before the LP2.
The picture on the cover shows one of the six British Bren Carriers, that came here in 1939. At this stage Australia had imported a British Machine Gun Carrier and was probably building its 160 LP1 carriers. I don't know when Australian production of the LP1 started or finished or when LP2 production started.
