The box is common to several AFVs/AFV weapons. The 20pdr Tank (as used in Centurion) also had the same tool box, and that would fit your 1950s time line.
The one marked (stamped) CIM is something I have not seen before: CIM usually stands for Classroom Instructional Mounting. The Centurion CIM was essentially a turret gunnery simulator that functioned using a specific CIM 20pdr round. Mike |
