Serial # Question
Here's one for you guys that know about the serial number nomenclature. My HUP data plate says the date of manufacture was Feb 25, 1943 but the first number of the serial number is 2 which should indicate a 1943 build year.I've seen this difference on other data plates too. Why the discrepancy?
