Interesting the, "Issued by V****", assume you mean the word has been obliterated? My book says Vauxhall Motors Ltd. If Vauxhall has been blanked in your book, it confirms even more now, a discussion I had on here before, where I have found data plates on wartime British vehicles and the makers name is removed just leaving the first letter. My theory was that it was an attempt to conceal the manufacturer and their location from bombing, etc.

By the way, we do drive on the right side of the road, its you guys who drive on the wrong side

No it is written in full ... Vauxhall Motors Ltd. ..I was in a hurry..I don't know why..
NOw that you mention it I see that I have the instruction book for the Mark lV the ,Mark V and Vl and the Harry Hopkins and the Coventry armoured car and others..
The Harry Hopkins is an interesting tank..For runner to the Tetrarch (SP?) ..Like to have one to run around the neighbourhood with..It would probably fit in my driveway..
