Vehicle techs like Rob were always busy, but never as busy as actually being in a place like Dundurn in the summer. I did the compound work on close to 70 Jeeps during the summer of 84....great times.

Summers were a great time for lazier units to upgrade their kit from units that did keep their EIS up to snuff. Doors,seats, heaters etc would all get swapped. But fortunately radios were a serialised kit, so woudl go back to their respective units. Little things like junction boxes on the dashes were fair game though.

Summer concentrations were the reason why you would see a unit's initials stencilled on everything from seats to spare tires to tool pouches to radios etc etc...
