Default testing 123

Had a chat with some radio boffins about radio sets available in 1941/42.
The first 19 sets were different from the MK 2 set I have and did not have a pull handles and the PSU didn't poke out the front as much.
Other sets were about the same size and lots of other information to glaze ones eyes over.

Any hey, I will use a period base with the canvas bits and a strap across the top to hold it in place so no one dies when I turn the first corner.

This is a dummy construction, a wider base by fitting a document drawer that will lift the set up and back and fit with original style support frame.

There is even enough room for the crew man to sit between the radio and tailgate.

Included is a photo I got from Keith of the original frame support.
