Wayne: I think f you look closely the inspector number is E19. This would concur with other E19 stamps observed on serial plates close to your number. You can see in my example how the tail of the is very close to closing the lower circle.
Also do you see a flatter shape to the 4 serial plate rivets compared to the rest of the plate? If so then I think that this is a clue that the serial plate was a fixed at a different time, perhaps after the jeep had been inspected, approved and given its delivery date? Just a theory.... Brian
