The hoses have thin ferrules on the ends and are crimped. A suitable crimper could be machined up easily. These ferrules were often used on fuel pipes, but failing that you could use small hose clips of the type with screw and nut. The hose would be available as a fuel or oil proof rubber. Hose should be for hot oil only, don't use fuel hose, it will last five minutes!
As said, they look crimped to join two pipes together to allow flex. Unless chance of rubbing on something or act like a heat shield, I can't see the purpose! I've made them for modern bikes out of braid (only as preference to owner!), car fuel and cooler lines, power steering hoses etc. The only thing I don't make is brake hoses as most are off the shelf! (Except air brake hoses, I make them!!)
