Excellent job of documenting the process and proceedure, you should submit this MVPA for Army Motors makes a good how to article. Had you used any penitrating oil prior to effort or were you trying it dry as part of the test? The point on not using impact wrench is a good one, I've stripped wheel pullers using impact wrench.
