Default Can someone explain.......

Appreciate the pictures Howard as I am working on a 1940 cab 11 Chev.

Now....could some one with good eyes confirm that the shifter for the tranny has the "reverse lock" on the wrong side????? mine is on the left of the shift lever??????? Does the lock lever work on iether side????? would be akward to activate the lever with your tumb.

I have also taken note of the location for the battery inside the cab right next to the 2 speed T case shift tower........ I relocated mine to the (cab 13) running board location as the 12 volt battery is too large for the original space ....... this is the first time I have seen an orignal set up.

Cheers
Bob C
