Why do we find the 2 wheel drive inner fenders and floor plates on the 4x4?????? Part shortages...... liquidation of remaining stock in late cab 12 production..... what was available in the parts bin at GM on a late Friday afternoon....????? After all we have seen late 1944 C60 cab 13 Aussie contract trucks, left in Canada, built with early rectangular instrument clusters and two weeks prior build with round gauges....... Do you think they did it on purpose to confuse eventual collectors ???? Corn phused!!! BooB
