Now the other side of the story - Raiding Museums for Parts
Hi Hans
Read with interest the post about scrapping out C 130s, then this morning someone in are local club sent me this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-news...where-29224170 about having to get parts off C130s in Museums. There is an odd symmetry to this, also good logic for the military to loan good complete vehicles and aircraft for museum display, gets them off the books but keeps them where they can get their hands on parts. I'm sure the museum was more than happy to cooperate, just good will on finding parts for display aircraft. Cheers Phil
