I have contacted the owner of the Ford battery cover that Keith had posted photos of earlier in this thread. He's happy to give me the dimensions so I can draw up some plans and I should have them soon and then be able to post them here. Construction is pretty basic, front and sides are just a single folded piece of sheet-metal and open at the back. The lid is just sheet-metal with a small lip folded over on three sides and spot welded randomly to the front and side piece. The top holes are slightly elongated he thinks. It's real sheet-metal 101 once one has the correct dimensions and metal thickness. Stay tuned! Cheers, Jacques
