Keith,
They could well be off a Crocodile trailer, the hub bears a striking resembelence to a rear hub on the AEC Matador artillery tractor. As the Croc' trailer was built by Lagonda Motors at Staines, Middlesex and AEC was at nearby Southall this may be correct. On equipment such as this trailer that would not have been produced in large numbers it was often found that available components were utilised.
