Radiator bracket....
The radiator bracket is original. We commonly refer to it has the horse collar.
That part was derived from existing civilian Chev parts.... originally it was a one piece rounded corner device to held the civilian radiator. The top part was cut off when they designed the CMP...... you will find a similar piece on a 1942 Chev truck and it will be complete. The holes in the nose sheet metal may have been for heater hoses.....??? Bob C.
