Default WW2 Bay of Gaspe RN Deep Water Harbour

While researching an unrelated item on the weekend, I ran across references to Canada building a deep water harbour in the Bay of Gaspe in 1940, for use by the Royal Navy, in the event England was occupied. Seems the preparations included construction of three Coastal Gun fortifications and related searchlight units, installation of submarine nets and construction of a 50 bed hospital along with the usual infrastructure.

One of the RCN Fairmiles Flotillas was apparently based there throughout the war and the facility was wound down in the latter part of 1944.

Anyone know what may have survived out there?
