rear window plates

As Rob points out the channel that has been available makes for a very tight fit squeezing the plates together so tight it is hard to move them. But if you are making new plates maybe you can just make them thinner.

So maybe the best way is get the edge channel first and adjust the plate thickness to work.

I have three different versions of the plates.

Ones on my 1941 C60L are plates about .125" with edge strips top and bottom about 3/8 wide .093 thick pinch welded on the plates.

Ones on my 1942 C60S 16 gauge and edge strips to make up the total ..2187"

Third version I have unknown vehicle 16 gauge with edge folded back in a U shape to make up the .2187
