Default Deuce Line Truck

I was out at a new (to me) scrapyard the other day and saw a deuce that I have not seen before. Here is a Duece Line truck. It would have had a hydraulic hole auger on a jib at the back, but the fellow who has it moved that onto a tractor or something. It is now leaning on some other piece of equipment.

I believe I saw a date of 1959 on the body. At first I thought it was a DUKW with a deuce cab transplanted onto it.

I have more photos from the scrapyard if anyone is interested, including a Diamond T M52 tractor with Cdn forces decals still on the doors. Looks like it had a new engine which didn't work out, so the forces scrapped it.
