I can assure you those jacks were part of the MK and RL kit and I have carried one on my QL for 20 years or more, they have a higher lift than you might imagine and there should be an extension block that slides over the top. Always carry a wood board as well in case of having to jack on softer ground.

I can't see these really short jacks being original issue to an R.L. Bedford, (However, I can see the QMS issuing them for same)
