For my edification.....
When did the canvass boot start appearing on the CMPS....? I can see the HUP after being driven by an officer and water splashed on his expensive pants...... being retro fitted with a canvas boot.....but... did all cab 13 have them.... or was it a later comfort item that appeared late in the war......?........ and did similar "boots"... for the comfort of the driver ever exist for cab 11 and cab 12....... I suspect that in the cab 11 they just issued rubber boots to the poor driver. Bob
