Mel's HUP got a quick once over and was sent to Oman as part of the Sultanate of Oman's 40th Anniversary celebration. Apparently, 40 years ago the present Sultan rode into his capital city in a HUP to take power from his father.

To celebrate this anniversary he spared little expense to get a HUP to lead the parade. The last I heard was that the truck is now in a museum. Nice videos on Youtube of the celebrations, but no shots of the HUP.
