Staged?
I've seen #41 (Nebelwerfer) in different publications describing the location from Normandy to Stalingrad.
This obviosly staged photo reminds me of how careful one should be when viewing photo records. I think there is a value to such photos in that they set a mood or tell a tale, as long as we recognize that it's a tall tale.
