Those dimensions look about right, Measuring from outside the canister though because I do not want to pull it apart until I get a filter. I have found an original style one (not cheap) over here, but the vendor has not replied to my last e-mail..... So I will certainly be following that AC Delco number up, just once I would like to go into a shop and buy something over the counter. Thanks heaps

I had found that site, But found it next to useless because none of the links (ie. the catalogue in particular) would work. Was in the process of contacting them, but will wait to see how I go with my two other options. I thank you for checking that out for me.
