hi everybody !
just joined and hoping to gain know how as i go along on restoring my 1943 C15a, i have taken the hubs off and about to start on the brakes but looking for advice, the shoes are ok with plenty of meat but the spring looks tired, dont know the condition of the wheel cyl as the brake pipes are long gone so is there a test ? as its the brakes i was going to take the wheel cylinders to a brake place for a check over and refurb, someone suggested a guy called Glen in brendale, brisbane ?
the handbrake cable has snapped the end of inside the drum too so was going to collect the bits up and take them in to him, is there anything else worth checking or doing whilst i have each hub off so i dont get caught out once start running her ?
cheers
