Here is a photo of my 1916 Albion 3 ton General Service truck. It took me more than 5,000 hours to restore it, back in the 1970's/80's. Jill and I are off on a Veteran Car Rally in 2006. 657km. in 3 weeks at an average speed of 25km/h.
The chassis number is 361A and was laid down on 6th December 1915 to be delivered in Feburary 1916. It was used in France and Belguim until 1919 and then returned to the UK. I was fortunate to be able to view and photograph the original build sheet for my truck at the Albion Archives in Biggar, Scotland last year. Corowa Swim-In 2011 is fast approaching and it is the Year of the British and European Vehicle. So my Albion will fit in well. Regards Rick
